Cader Idris Outdoor Gear first opened in 1990 and quickly established itself as "the" Outdoor shop in the area.
The shop came under new ownership in early 2003 and continued to evolve to
meet the demands of outdoor enthusiasts in the area. New ownership meant new
brands
whilst continuing with popular brands from the past.
Dolgellau is placed between 3 mountain areas, Cader Idris, the Harlech Dome and the Aran. Whilst Cader is the main draw to the area there are many attractions for those that enjoy the outdoors.
